Private commissions are always a pleasure. Even more so when the client gives me free reign with concept and palette. Such was the case with this jewel, which is in essence my abstract impression of the client, a huge-hearted friend and colleague whom I greatly admire.
My thoughts as I was building this were of the wealth she shares with others daily - of creativity, curiosity, respect, acceptance, empathy, time, energy, laughter - and how these enrich and inspire the recipients in all of her circles.
